REGISTRATION

Don’t have a Kajteroz account? Download the Nextbike app or go to kajteroz.pl.

Then select “Registration” and follow the displayed instructions.

To activate your account pay the initial fee and confirm your email.

 


RENTAL

Want to rent a bike? Open the Nextbike app, then scan the QR code on the bike or enter the bike number.

Click “Rent a bike” and you’re done – the O-lock located on the rear wheel, will open automatically.

Remember that you can also call the contact centre, we will help!

 


RETURN – now it’s even easier!

Just close the O-lock located on the rear wheel, the bike will return automatically.

IMPORTANT: The “KAJTEROZ” system operates only in the city of Chorzow.

This means that a bicycle taken from a bicycle station in Chorzow must be returned at a bicycle station located in Chorzow.

 


BREAK

Need a break in your rental but don’t want to return the bike? Use the Stop in the app.

Select an active rental, press “Parking” and confirm.

Now you can close the O-lock, without returning the bike.

Want to continue your ride? Select “Resume” in the app and the O-lock will open automatically.

 

 

 

Where can I rent/return the children’s bike?

Children’s bikes may be rented and returned at any station within the system Kajteroz. Locations may be found on the map of Nextbike applications or in the “MAP OF STATIONS” tab on the www.kajteroz.pl  website.

Who can use the children’s bikes?

The children’s bikes which are intended for children over 6 years of age and increase from 120 cm. The use of bicycles is only possible under the care of a legal guardian who has an account in our system. The legal guardian is obliged to supervise the child’s driving throughout the entire period of the rental until the bike is returned. Remember that before renting a children’s bike, the legal guardian must make sure that the child can ride a bike without using the so-called side wheels.

How much I must to pay for renting children’s bikes?

Children’s bikes rental is subject to the same price list as for standard bikes. It is available in the “Price list“.

HOW CAN I DELETE MY ACCOUNT?

You can send your instruction to delete your account by email or letter.
Remember! Before deletion, replenish the funds on your account to a balance equal to 0 PLN. If you have unused funds on your account, in the application provide a bank account number for their return.

CAN I RENT A KAJTEROZ BIKE TO AN ACCOUNT IN ANOTHER SYSTEM?

Setting up an account in one system allows you to use bicycle rentals in other cities, as long as these systems allow this possibility.

WHY IS MY ACCOUNT INACTIVE?

Make sure that you have completed the registration process, i.e. completed all the required data on your account and clicked on the activation link sent to your e-mail. If there are difficulties in finding an email from us, check if it accidentally went to spam.

The account is active when there is a minimum balance of 10 PLN.

HOW TO RESET THE ACCOUNT PIN?

Go to the mobile app or website and use the “FORGOT PIN”/”FORGOT PIN?” option.

HOW TO TOP UP THE ACCOUNT?

You will recharge the account after logging into the mobile application or website. Available payment methods include payment by card, bank transfer or BLIK.

CAN A CHILD HAVE AN ACCOUNT?

Yes, if they are at least 13 years old and a parent or legal guardian gives permission. The consent must be scanned and sent electronically/paper to the operator’s address. The consent template is available in the REGULATIONS tab. When registering, you must provide the details of the minor who will use the account.

HOW MANY BIKES CAN I RENT AT THE SAME TIME?

You can rent a maximum of 1 bike at a time on one account.

WHERE CAN I RENT A BIKE?

The locations of stations may be found on the website under  „MAP OF STATIONS” as well as in the Nextbike mobile application.

WHERE CAN I RETURN MY BICYCLE?/

You can only return your bike at the Kajteroz station. Stands at stations only serve as bicycle support. You can put the bike in the stand, but you must close the o-lock to return it.

WHAT TO DO IF THE O-LOCK DOES NOT OPEN?

Check the correct position of the o-lock – it should not touch the spokes of the bicycle. If it obstructs, change the position of the rear wheel.

If you have further difficulties, use the “OPEN LOCK” option available on the rental.

WHAT TO DO IF THE O-LOCK DOES NOT CLOSE?

Check the correct alignment of the rear wheel – it should be aligned evenly with the o-lock, so that it can get around it without touching the spokes.

If you continue to have difficulty returning the bike, contact the BOK.

HOW TO REPORT A BICYCLE DEFECT?

Provide information including the bicycle number along with a description of the defect through the mobile application, website or contact the BOK. Our service will remove the defects as soon as possible, and your report will allow us to intervene even faster! Thank you!

HOW TO REPORT A BICYCLE ACCIDENT?

When an accident or collision occurs during your bicycle rental, write down statements and/or call the police to the scene. Moreover, remember to inform the BOK of the incident, within a maximum of 24 hours after the incident.

HOW TO REPORT A STOLEN BICYCLE?

Has your rented bicycle been stolen? Inform our Consultant about the incident immediately by contacting the BOK. Remember to secure the bicycle, because you may be charged an additional fee.
